Assessments
Assessment is by completing assignments and meeting assessment criteria for each of the modules. These assignments are meant to demonstrate your achievement of learning objectives. All units within this qualification are internally assessed via exams and tasks which are externally verified by the awarding organisation.
The assignments submitted by learners must achieve the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by the assessment criteria for the unit. Learners can make pass, merit or distinction grade depending on the quality of assignment and questions attempted. To achieve a merit or distinction grade, the learners must demonstrate that they have met all the criteria set for these grades.
Fees & Funding
Tuition fees cover the cost of a student’s academic studies. It usually includes teaching costs, registration and examination fees (not repeat or tailing modules, re-sit fees or coursework resubmission). Any costs associated with work placements will be the students’ responsibility.
Scholarships
The level of competition for scholarships and educational awards is very high. We recommend that you apply for the course early if you plan to use for a related prize.
For some of our scholarships, you will need an offer to study the course to be eligible. Even where it is not a requirement, holding an offer to study can often benefit a funding application.

As an accountancy graduate, you may have an exemption from some of these examinations, depending on the modules and credits you’ve achieved in your degree.
Some postgraduate courses train you to work in a more specialised area of the financial industry, such as an MSc in actuarial science. It’s also possible to study for a Ph.D. in specific areas of finance, such as banking or trade statistics.
