The ATHE Level 6 Extended Diploma in Management is a 120-credit size qualification and is the equivalent size and level to the 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree. This qualification is designed to develop your understanding of management and to develop essential management skills.
The requirement aims to provide critical aspects in business and management; it also provides a fast track to higher education as students can directly join the first year of a Master degree.

Assessments
Assessment is by completing assignments and meeting the criteria for each of the modules. These assignments are meant to demonstrate your achievement of learning objectives. All units within this qualification are internally assessed, which the awarding organisation externally verifies.
The assignments submitted by learners must achieve the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by the assessment criteria for the unit. Learners can make pass, merit or distinction grade depending on the quality of assignments and questions attempted. To achieve a merit or distinction grade, the learners must demonstrate that they have met all the criteria set for these grades.
Fees
Tuition fees cover the cost of a student’s academic studies. It usually includes teaching costs, registration and examination fees (not repeat or tailing modules, re-sit fees or coursework resubmission). Any costs associated with work placements will be the students’ responsibility.
Scholarships
The level of competition for scholarships and educational awards is very high. We recommend that you apply for the programme early if you plan to use it for a related prize.
For some of our scholarships, you will need an offer to study the programme to be eligible. Even where it is not a requirement, holding an offer to study can often benefit a funding application.
Employability
Level 6 Extended Diploma in Management has been designed for learners who wish to develop the skills and knowledge required for roles in junior management. They have also been developed with progression in mind and enable learners to continue to a range of Bachelor’s degrees. The addition of our GenEd pathway, if taken in combination with the Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management.
