In your first year, you’ll complete a structured series of core modules designed to give you a strong foundation across all areas of business. You’ll engage through a mix of independent online study, live webinars, and interactive discussions.

Programme highlights:

  • Weekly live webinars (60-90 minutes) that connect you with expert faculty and classmates worldwide.
  • Optional weekly drop-in sessions offering additional support and interaction with faculty and peers.
  • Two immersive London weeks, combining theory, group work, and case-based learning to strengthen collaboration and applied understanding.

The online materials are released two weeks before each live session, giving you flexibility to learn at your own pace and come prepared for rich, interactive discussions.

In your second year, you’ll tailor the programme to your goals. Choose from a portfolio of online electives that align with your professional goals and interests and apply your learning in the Business Integration Project, a capstone project designed to solve a real organisational challenge.

You’ll also have the opportunity to take one on-campus elective in London, included in your course fee. This option lets you connect face-to-face with peers, faculty, and guest speakers in one of the world’s leading business hubs.

If you wish to take additional on-campus electives or any international electives, these are available at an additional cost, allowing you to further broaden your perspective and global network.

Admissions

  • A minimum of five years of full-time professional experience is required, gained after completing your undergraduate studies.
  • Applicants should be at a managerial or executive level, with proven leadership experience and a strong commitment to advancing their career while studying part-time.

  • We normally require a second class honours degree (2:2) or above.
  • Applicants without an honours degree need to show relevant workplace experience.

GMAT or GRE scores are not mandatory but may be considered as part of the application to strengthen your profile.

  • The most commonly accepted evidence of English language ability is IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in all components)
  • Applicants without an IELTS should take an internal English test with the LSB admission team.

Fees & Funding

Tuition fees cover the cost of a student’s academic studies. This usually includes teaching costs, registration and examination fees (not repeat or tailing modules, re-sit fees or coursework resubmission). Any costs associated with work placements will be the students responsibility.

The LSB Global Executive MBA (Live Online) is a 24-month part-time program. This extended duration is designed to provide senior leaders with a sustainable pace, allowing them to balance intensive strategic modules with their professional and personal commitments.

We accept a wide range of international qualifications for postgraduate study at Imperial.

We’ve provided general guidance in the country and region index. Here, understand how qualifications awarded by public institutions overseas may satisfy our minimum academic admission requirements.

We review our requirements annually. Updates usually happen in October each year before the next academic year of entry.
