The Level 4 Extended Diploma in Business and Management, consisting of 120 credits, corresponds to the first year of an undergraduate degree. This qualification is developed and designed to provide a sound understanding of management skills and concepts.
The objective is to facilitate the essential business and management theories and provide a fast-track route for students to join the second year of undergraduate studies upon completion of this diploma.
This program covers a wide range of subjects including marketing, finance, human resources, business ethics and corporate social responsibility (CSR). It’s tailored to equip students with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to excel in the business world. Fees
Tuition fees cover the cost of a student’s academic studies. It usually includes teaching costs, registration and examination fees (not repeat or tailing modules, re-sit fees or coursework resubmission). Any costs associated with work placements will be the students’ responsibility.
Assessments
Assessment is by completing assignments and meeting assessment criteria for each of the modules. These assignments are meant to demonstrate your achievement of learning objectives. All units within this qualification are internally assessed via exams and assignments which are externally verified by the awarding organisation.
The assignments submitted by learners must achieve the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by the assessment criteria for the unit. Learners can achieve pass, merit or distinction grade depending on quality of assignment and questions attempted. To achieve a merit or distinction grade, the learners must demonstrate that they have achieved all the criteria set for these grades.
Employability
Level 4 Extended Diploma in Business and Management has been designed for learners who wish to develop the skills and knowledge required for roles in junior management. They have also been developed with progression in mind and enable learners to continue to a range of Bachelor’s degrees.
