Clive Farrand

Clive is an advocate of lifelong learning and hence enjoys his teaching role and is an active researcher. Clive has been a finance lecturer for 18 years, teaching to the HE firms and to market professionals. He has several professional qualifications in finance and still follows market trends.
He is also a banking expert and has been a bank director for 20 years. He assumed a new career as a Senior Lecturer in 2005. Role was to add practitioner experience. He qualified as a teacher, PG Cert and he is a fellow of Higher Education, FHEA.
He has actively, participated in the promotion of the City of London education sector overseas. This included twice as part of the Lord Mayors’ invitations to Vietnam and Qatar.
He has during his banking and higher education career had the opportunity to work in Bahrain and Qatar with also short business trips to USA, Asia, Europe and Middle East.
Clive has some Venture Capital experience and has been a non-executive director. Clive is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
