This practical law degree is designed to help you become career-ready by giving you the skills you need to succeed in legal practice. Recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Bar Standards Board (BSB) as a Qualifying Law Degree (QLD); it is perfect if you want to move on to the Legal Practice Course (LPC) to be a solicitor, or undertake the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) if you aim to be a barrister. You can utilise the knowledge and skills you learn to open doors to a variety of other rewarding careers.

Entry requirements

240 UCAS tariff points at GCE A-Level or equivalent. Appropriate AS-Level and Level 3 Key Skills qualifications will be considered. Applicants must also have five GCSE passes at grades A, B or C including Mathematics and English. International students must prove valid qualifications equivalent to the above requirements.

English language proficiency for international students: IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component or equivalent.

Fees & Funding

Tuition fees cover the cost of a student’s academic studies. This usually includes teaching costs, registration and examination fees (not repeat or tailing modules, re-sit fees or coursework resubmission). Any costs associated with work placements will be students responsibility.
