Dr Ezra Carlson 

Director

Dr Ezra Carlson is an esteemed part-time Business Lecturer at LSB. With a wealth of experience in teaching at renowned universities and esteemed business schools across the United Kingdom, Australia, and South Africa, Dr Carlson possesses a profound understanding of the intricacies of business education and profound knowledge makes him a highly regarded educator in the field of business.

Dr. Ezra Carlson is a multifaceted professional, encompassing roles as an entrepreneur, technologist-turned-investor, and seasoned advisor specializing in applied innovation. With extensive experience in senior consulting advisory positions for global FTSE100/S&P500 firms, including SABMiller, Diageo, Chevron, Home Retail Group, and others, Dr. Carlson has demonstrated his expertise in digital and business transformation initiatives.

In addition to his advisory work, Dr. Carlson is a visionary founder of three innovative companies. Currently serving as the CEO of Nano-Nose, he leads the application of biomarkers, machine learning, and nanotechnology to detect serious health risks through breath analysis.

Furthermore, Dr. Carlson serves as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of Members for the Slough and East Berkshire CofE Multi Academy Trust, highlighting his commitment to educational leadership.

Dr Richard George

Dr Richard George is the Programme Leader for the MBA at LSB. He has worked as a professor at universities and business schools in both South Africa and the United Kingdom for over 23 years.Richard brings a wealth of academic expertise to his role at LSB as he joins with a distinguished background as an Associate Professor of Marketing and former Director of the Tourism Research Unit at the University of Cape Town (UCT).

With a focus on customer behaviour within the travel and tourism industry, as well as safety and security concerns, his research interests have garnered significant attention. Richard holds a PhD in Marketing from UCT, showcasing his commitment to advancing knowledge in his field.

Before joining LSB, Richard served as a program leader and lecturer in BA programs at the University of Bedfordshire, further enhancing his practical experience and teaching abilities. His combined academic and professional background position him as a valuable asset in delivering high-quality education and insights to students at LSB.

Dr Stephen Littler

Dr Stephen Littler is an Academic Associate member of the CIPD and a Fellow of ITOL, holding a PhD in Corporate Social Responsibility and Business from the University of the West of Scotland. Stephen began his career in lecturing over ten years ago and staying on at his Alma mater where his academic career began. Dr Stephen Littler is an Academic Associate member of the CIPD and Fellow of ITOL, holding a PhD in Corporate Social Responsibility and Business from the University of the West of Scotland

Stephen began his career in lecturing over ten years ago and staying on at his Alma mater where his academic career began.

Moving into the professional world, Stephen gained practical experience working in recruitment in the Scottish HR sector where he built a strong portfolio of clients. Later in his professional career, Stephen gained the position of HR Project Manager for the EMEA region within Hewlett-Packard based in Erskine, Scotland.

After a short working duration in Bulgaria and South Africa, Stephen decided to return to the Academic world where he is now self-employed as a Business Consultant for several CIPD Providers and an academic writer for student learning material.

With a distinguished Post-Doctorate in Design Innovation and Brand Aesthetics, complemented by a PhD in International Communication focused on Brand Architecture, Management, and Digital Audit, she exemplifies a relentless pursuit of excellence in research and knowledge acquisition.

Throughout her illustrious career, Dr Ania A. Drzewiecka has held pivotal positions in prestigious organizations such as Lancashire Forensic Science Academy, Atlantic International University, and The DM Hub Ltd. Her influential contributions encompass a wide spectrum of brand management domains, including successful brand launches, performance management, and strategic direction for global marketing initiatives. Leveraging her comprehensive skill set, she excels in brand identity design, market research, social media engagement, e-commerce optimization, and digital communication. Dr Ania A. Drzewiecka possesses an impressive command of various tools and platforms, including PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, and MS Word/Excel, enabling her to seamlessly blend creativity with technical proficiency in executing innovative brand strategies.
