Ms. Divya Nambiar is a Doctoral researcher at the university of Huddersfield, United Kingdom, in the department of Business School. The key research focus is on the subject area of customer engagement, small business, and brand management. Being a strong believer in continuous improvement, she focusses on developing capabilities and is adaptable to pragmatic situations. As the researcher Divya focuses on the new researching opportunities and to upskill the knowledge. Parallel to the research experience Divya Nambiar has wide teaching experience in the diverse field of business management and marketing. After a few years of front-line teaching, Divya has stepped up to lead the marketing academic subject group. The subject group hosts many students from programmes at undergraduate level diverse areas such as marketing and digital Marketing. Programmes are delivered at undergraduate, postgraduate level, with an active supervision.
At present Divya is the module leader for two subjects namely fundamentals of business and marketing insights. Prior to joining the research program, she has industrial experience as marketing communications manager in a French multinational company. The industrial experience provides more practical exposure to academic insights, which can be more add on to the academic arena. Throughout the industry and academic career, she has been delivering excellent experience to customers and students, with roles centred around marketing, digital marketing, digital analytics, and branding. Divya has experience in managing teams to achieve the organizational goals, as well as expertise in project management, learning design and stakeholders’ relationship’s management. Divya is a regular participant in the marketing conferences.
In the academic area, she had worked with different institutions managing large programmes, designing content, creating, and delivering several modules, and leading initiatives to improve student experience, engagement, and retention. The impact on institutions, colleagues and students have been recognized by the Higher Education Academy. Divya always looks forward to expanding the knowledge and opportunities to apply the knowledge expertise in practical and research contexts.
