Chandrayaan-3: India’s historic Moon mission lifts off successfully.
This comes 15 years after the countries first moon mission back in 2008. With the space craft successfully landing, it has put in india as only the fourth country to successfully land on the moon in history. A lot of people from india were observing the lift off and everyone was amazed by the beauty of the spacecraft. It was described as majestic and many people elaborated on how it was soaring in the sky. This was a memorable day for the country as everyone has had high hopes for the spacecraft to land successfully. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Chandrayaan-3 had “scripted a new chapter in India’s space odyssey”. This further shows the joy and importance of this space craft landing successfully as the whole country is regarding this as history breaking.
The prime minister dedicated this success to the scientists who have been constantly dedicating hours to making sure that this was a success. He further on went to relate the success of chandrayaan-3 to the ambition and commitment of every person in the country. “It soars high, elevating the dreams and ambitions of every Indian. This momentous achievement is a testament to our scientists’ relentless dedication. I salute their spirit and ingenuity!”. He posted this on twitter showing his joy. Chandrayaan-2 was not successful when it launched in july 2019 so a lot of thought and process went into the third one.
The whole goal of this is to one day make the moon an extended continent for possibly humans and other species to live there. With chandrayaan-3 landing its a very positive direction towards that as now local supplies from earth can be carried there for it to be built on. If more research is done on the moon, scientists can find out what kind of species can survive there or what exactly is needed to survive there. This is why this space craft landing was such a big achievement as it is now seen as the next big thing for the future of the earth and humans.
