About the opportunity
Working with us is a wise investment in your future career. You will be working as part of the LSB group. The successful candidate will become part of a Business Development Team, in a role that offers a lot of responsibility and fast career progression. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. You will need lots of energy and have a strong desire to succeed, as your day will be jam-packed with developing self-generated prospects. You will be dealing with senior-level staff.

Key Objectives

  • Increase brand awareness

  • Drive new business leads and sales

  • To deliver internal/external marketing activity reports

  • To develop and communicate a consistent brand policy

  • Stimulate, build and inspire customer and consumer engagement

Day to day responsibilities will include but not limited:

  • Present our company to potential clients

  • Liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams

  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

  • Contact potential clients through email and phone

  • Report bi-weekly to the Head of Sales on the sales results

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction

  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services

  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and our sales managers

You will be closely collaborating with the sales manager and marketing team on a specific market (Europe / Middle East / Asia / Latin America / South & North Africa) throughout your time spent with us.

Requirements:

  • BSc degree in any discipline

  • Patience and empathy. Customers like this

  • Self-motivated, able to work as part of a team

  • A positive attitude, good initiative and enterprise

  • Good organisational and time-management skills

  • Consummate multi-tasker who can wear multiple hats

  • Exceptional communicator, both orally and in writing, in English

  • Trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information

  • Hungry to learn and teach; We invest heavily in making each other better

  • People have to enjoy talking to you. And you have to enjoy talking with them

  • Bias towards immediate action and results. You’ve got to love measuring your own progress

  • Willingness to take responsibility and accountability that comes with the autonomy you’ll get

  • Enthusiasm, humour, empathy, and the ability to convey this through phone, email and in-person communication
