The ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Business and Management consisting of 120 credits, is a correspondent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. This qualification is developed and designed in a manner that provides a sound understanding of management skills and concepts. The objective is to facilitate the essential theories of business and management and also provides a fast track route for students to join the second year of undergraduate studies upon completion of this diploma.

Entry Requirements

We accept candidates who have achieved a wide range of credentials, including any post- 16 qualification in the UK. Functional, Vocational and other essential skills are recognised and accepted from all around the world. Please get in touch with us to discuss the specific requirements for your country.

  • A GCE Advanced level profile with achievement in 2 or more subjects supported by 5 or more GCSEs at grades C and above.

  • Other related level 3 subjects such as ATHE Level 3 Diplomas.

  • An Access to Higher Education Certificate delivered by an approved further education institute and validated by an Access Validating Agency.

  • Other equivalent international qualifications.

  • An international qualification which is deemed to be of a similar level to ATHE level 3 Diploma in Business.

  • One ‘A’ Levels or equivalent, or an appropriate School Leavers’ certificate deemed to be of a similar level

English Requirments

  • For this course it is Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5

Assessments

Assessment is by completing assignments and meeting assessment criteria for each of the modules. These assignments are meant to demonstrate your achievement of learning objectives. All units within this qualification are internally assessed via exams and tasks which are externally verified by the awarding organisation.

The assignments submitted by learners must achieve the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by the assessment criteria for the unit. Learners can make pass, merit or distinction grade depending on the quality of assignment and questions attempted. To achieve a merit or distinction grade, the learners must demonstrate that they have met all the criteria set for these grades.

Fees & Funding

Tuition fees cover the cost of a student’s academic studies. It usually includes teaching costs, registration and examination fees (not repeat or tailing modules, re-sit fees or coursework resubmission). Any costs associated with work placements will be the students’ responsibility.

Level 4 Extended Diploma in Business and Management has been designed for learners who wish to develop the skills and knowledge required for roles in junior management. They have also been developed with progression in mind and enable learners to continue to a range of Bachelor’s degrees. The addition of our GenEd pathway, if taken in combination with the Level 5 Extended Diploma in Business and Management.

Yes, students can open a bank account, all that is needed is documentation.

  • Current passport.
  • Valid visa (for those from outside the European Union)
  • Home bank statement from the past three months.
  • Proof of address in the UK or abroad (check with your bank)
  • Student ID or acceptance letter from your university.

You must inform us immediately so that we can update your details. For example your address may have changed and this is important we know so that when we send certificates, it goes to the right address.

Please inform us as soon as possible as this may cause a delay in your application by the time you start. There are many applications and checks to be made which takes time. Therefore, we recommend doing this before you start at LSB so that everything is ready when you start.

Once registered at LSB, we can direct you to job fairs. Job fairs are also known as a career fair that employees or recruiters inform you of potential jobs. LSB will also help you get signed on job boards such as Indeed and Reed for more possible jobs.

If you reach out to us, we will be able to arrange another phone call to discuss what grades are acceptable. If we believe you don’t have enough credits to get into LSB, there are many alternatives so don’t panic.

There are open day’s available for students who wish to get a tour around the school. London School of Business holds more than one open day so that every student has an opportunity to attend.

In order to assess your eligibility for the programme, we will review your profile and your expectations from your career. This will be done via an in-person, telephonic or video conversation. In addition, we will mark your English proficiency for the course as well, and advise on further actions to be taken on your part.

Once your application and personal assessment interview are completed, you will receive an admission decision within two weeks. If you have any questions regarding the status of your application, feel free to contact your Admission Advisor.
