Our full-time BSc (Hons) Applied Computing degree is designed to develop a number of practical skills which are useful in any field of computing. Students gain invaluable skills in using the latest technology and specialised software, thus enhancing their employability.
Throughout the course you will study a wide range of topics, from systems development and strategic systems management, to social / current issues in computing, and professional management and practice.
You will also complete a case study project, which will provide you with the opportunity to apply all of your existing skills to a substantial software development problem.

240 UCAS tariff points at GCE A-Level or equivalent. Appropriate AS-Level and Level 3 Key Skills qualifications will also be taken into account. Applicants must also have five GCSE passes at grades A, B or C including Mathematics and English. International students must prove valid qualifications equivalent to the above requirements.
English language proficiency for international students: IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component or equivalent.

Tuition fees cover the cost of a student’s academic studies. This usually includes teaching costs, registration and examination fees (not repeat or tailing modules, re-sit fees or coursework resubmission). Any costs associated with work placements will be the students responsibility.
